I was in the middle of the 2nd row at the Chattanooga show last week and have been a fan since I first took up bass in 1979. I've seen you many times in Atlanta and Winston-Salem since then and it was just so good to see you again. I can honestly say that you've only gotten better and more sophisticated over the years. Also wanted to let you know that I belatedly came to appreciate the work on the two Animal Logic albums as far as helping me understand what a bassist can do to help construct a band's overall tone and sound. Good luck with the rest of your tour and again, thank you and thank your amazing band. - Jeff Hubbs, Atlanta, GA
Do you have Forever? Double CD with lots of performance
I'm sure I'll be back, but nothing is on the schedule at the moment. Last night I played London Jazz Fest.
not a question at this time, but just wanted to say how much i enjoyed seeing you at the Lemon Jazz Festival this year in Sorrento, Italy. thank you for taking the time to stop and say hello. it was an amazing show. i have a 40year old son that is also a bass player, and when i sent him your picture, i asked if he recognized who you were. Much to me surprise, he knew right away. I hope to see you in Toronto when you pass by here again.
Thanks so much!
I saw Stanley Clark's amazing show at Yoshi's in Oakland yesterday (10/06/18) and been searching the web to find the name of the incredibly talented violinist who played with him, but to no avail. Would you please let me know his name? Will Mr. Clark's new CD contain the pieces he played last night?
Thanks for a delightful night! The music was brilliant!!
My violinist is Evan Garr. He's not on the current album, but hopefully will be on future ones. He continues to tour with me.
As you've probably seen, Dracula Club was cancelled. He will be at Langnau, Jazz Nights, July 29. Also he will be in Zurich in November. Check out his show page on stanleyclarke.com for details.
